    3. I am searching for information about Stephen THOMAS, son of David and Ann THOMAS who lived in Palmyra. Stephen was born Jan. 4, 1843 in Palmyra and died April 15, 1929,(I'm assuming in Palmyra as he was living with his daughter Edna there in the 1920 census) I am especially interested in info about his son David J. You can find all of the information on Ohio's Vital Records and where to find them here: http://genealogy.about.com/library/vital/blohio.htm For those dates you'd need to write to the Probate Court for Portage County.     3. Marriage records are available from 1807 on from Probate Court, 203 W. Main St, Ravenna OH 44266. Birth and death records are also available at Probate Court, but they do not begin until 1867-1908. Jackie

    3. William Sh. Strong b 11 Nov 1826 Warren, Litchfield Co. Conn. and his wife Julia Ann Benedict lived in Ravenna at the time of the birth of their daughter Mary Ellen in 1853. They had 2 sons John and Charles. They had a son William D. in Oxford, Jones Co Ia in 1854. I don't know when they arrived or left Ravenna. I am seeking any information on their stay there.
