    2. Researching the Garrett line of Hocking County, Vinton, and Pickaway Counties. I have just started so do not have much to share on the line, but am hoping it is enough to make a connection to those who are of the line or may have any information at all. Any help would be appreciated. 1. Sylvester Garrett, b. abt. 1847 in Ohio, resided in Washington Twp., Hocking Co., married Nancy Lodenna Culbertson, b. abt 1851, in Ohio. Children : 1. ) James (S. ?) Garrett, b. Sept. 20, 1878, Washington Twp.,Hocking Co.,Oh. d. Oct. 9, 1962 in South Bloomingville, Hocking Co., Oh. married Clara Jane (or Zelma) Van Fossen. 2. ) Bertha Garrett , b. abt 1875 3. ) Susan Garrett, b. abt. 1871; d. 1905. Married William R. Harden. Buried Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Hocking Co.,Oh. 4. ) Ocie Garrett, b. abt 1873 5. ) Silesta Garrett, b. Dec. 11, 1883 , Washington Twp., Hocking Co., Oh. 6. ) Elizabeth Garrett, b. Sept. 9, 1887, Washington Twp., Hocking Co., Oh. 7. ) Gertie Garrett, b. Feb. 17, 1881, Washington Twp., Hocking Co., Oh. A Job Garrett, b. abt 1825 , who married Julia Ann Sico , June 24, 1847 in Hocking Co. Julia was b. abt 1825 in Virginia. They had children: Jane B., James L., Elsworth S., and another son, plus a grandson Wm. A. Butter living with them in 1880 census of Ohio. I am trying to find a connection to Job and Sylvester since they were both in the Washington Twp. area at the same time. James L., is buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery , Salt Creek Twp., Hocking Co. Also in Salt Creek Twp., Hocking Co., trying to find a line to the following : Lyda Garrett, b.,1849 in Indiana, widow of William Garrett b. 1850, d. 1895 ,had children: Edward N. Garrett, b. 1883, d. 1922, William jr., Pearl, b. 1886 , d. 1968 , Frank, and Harley L. b. 1891, d. 1954. Pearl is buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery and own an orchard on Salt Creek Road. Also buried in Mt. Carmel is, Lydia, William, and Harley. Anyone who has information or can help me tie this families together would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Lona Stevens
