I'm a bit confused about the piece of property that seems to have gone between Pickaway and Fairfield Counties in the early 1800's. I am looking for a John Kuntz/Coons/Koontz (wife may be Sarah) who settled in Clearcreek Twp in 1800 or 1801 along with the Dillsaver, Newhouse, and Moore families on or near Scippio Creek. Apparently, this land became part of one county and then another. I don't know which county I should be looking for records in. Clarification needed. Thanks, Raymond Coon Gresham, Oregon
