Leon Reporter Iowa March 2l, l895 ELIZABETH CATHARINE HOOVER, daughter of PETER and MARY HOOVER, was born in Pickaway County, Ohio, Jan. 2l, l838, died March ll, l895, aged 57 years, l month and 20 days.  Was united in marriage to THOMAS DILLON in the year l863.  She moved with her husband to her home in Decatur County, Iowa in l866, where she resided up to the time of her death. She has been under the doctor's care constantly for 3 years, yet she bore her suffering patiently and uncomplainingly.  She was a good neighbor, a faithful  wife and devoted mother.  Five children blessed their union, four daughters and one son, the son dying in infancy. Her husband was called away two years ago last November.  She leaves to mourn her loss four daughters, four sisters and three brothers, besides a host of relatives and friends.  The funeral services were held at the Catholic Church on Friday, conducted by the Rev. Father Bulger.                   Farewell mother, thou hast left us,                     And thy loss we deeply feel,                   But 'tis God that has bereaft us;                     He can all our sorrows heal.
