    2. Hi all It's been awhile since I've had time to post some items, with the new year; I will try to get going again. From newspapers in Circleville, copied by the Pickaway Co. Hist. Soc., but no headers of the papers June 3, 1931 Mother of Grover Wilkins, aged 72, wife of Andrew Wilkins, died at the home of her son, Grover, Fairview Avenue of heart trouble, Tuesday at 6 p.m.. Death was sudden. Mrs. Wilkins was a native of Ross Co, being born Aug 16, 1858, the daughter of Michael and Mary Cherry Hittinger. She is survived by her husband, her son, at whose home she died; three brothers, William, Lewis, and Nelson Hittinger, all of Adelphi; four sisters, Mrs. Susan Gilpin, this city; Mrs. Vistie Francis and Mrs. Mervie Bennette of Adelphi and Miss Clara Hittinger, of Hallsville. Funeral services will be Thursday, at 2:30 pm at the church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. C. W. Ruhlman, of the Evangelical church officiating in the absence of Rev. O. L. Ferguson. Burial will be in Hilter-Ludwig cemetery by M. S. Rinehart. --------------------------------------------------------------------- June 3, 1931 Funeral services were held Sunday at Bainbridge for Lewis Good, 46, brother of John Good, of Ashville, who succumbed at his home last Friday. He is also survived by his widow, two sons, his father and a sister. He has lived in Bainbridge the past five years and was occupied as a steam and electrical engineer. ---------------------------------------------- Former Local Resident Dies of Injuries in Cincinnati Hospital May 30, 1931 Mrs. Jessie Denman, 51, 155 E. Duncan st, Columbus, sister-in-law of H. B. Denman, of the Ohio Water Service Co., this city, died from a fractured skull in Bethesda Hospital, Cincinnati, following an auto crash Saturday, near Macon, O. The wreck was caused by Mrs. Denman's husband, Samuel F. Denman, was also badly injured and was given hospital treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Denman were both former residents of here, and conducted the Scioto Valley Traction Station, N. Court st., for many years preceding Mrs. and Mrs. J. H. Drum. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Denman, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Denman, James W. Denman, George F. Denman and daughter, Nellie, attended funeral services for Mrs. Denman Tuesday in Grace M. E. church in Columbus.     3. Can anyone tell me who Grover Wilkins was??? When I saw the name I recalled my mother, Grace Gilmore Powell, speaking of a Grover Wilkins. However none of the names in the obituary are familiar. My mother was born in Ross County, moving to Pickaway in 1920's, but it would be in later years when I heard her speak of him.
