Hi, If you find any with the name Lape, I would be interested, also. About all I have is the marriage of Nicholas J. Lape I to Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Rogers and their 3 children: Clarissa C. b ca 1846, Marie M. b ca 1848 and Benjamin b ca 1849, all born in Pickaway Co. I have not found marriage records, etc. Elizabeth Rogers was later married to William Bailey (22 Dec 1841). They lived in Marion Co., Ill. on 30 August 1857. In the Springfield, Ill. City Directory, in 1938 Bailey, Wm. J. (Marie) was employed at the Havanna Stockyard. Do you have information that could help me? Thank you.
