THE CIRCLEVILLE UNION HERALD Thursday, October 13, 1898 Page 9 Column 5 Weddings of the Fall NOECKER - NOTHSTINE Mr. John H. NOECKER, a prosperous young farmer of St. Paul and brother of Mr. J.P. NOECKER of this city, was married to Miss Fannie Ethal NOTHSTINE, Oct. 6. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. NOTHSTINE and the ceremony took place at their pretty country home on the Island road. The house was beautifully decorated in vines and pink and white carnations and carnations adorned the bride's table and were the souvenirs. There were no attendants, Walter HEDGES, the little nephew of the bride carried the ring and led the way to a green and pink bower where the marriage service which united the two for life was ready by Rev. Mr. BULLARD. The bride was gowned in white organdie trimmed in mousseline de soie and valley lillies and carried bride's roses. Her traveling dress was a tailor made suit of brown broadcloth, trimmed in white with hat and coat to match. After the ceremony an elegant wedding supper was served to fifty guests who were seated at three long tables, the bride's table being in the center. Among the guests from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. George NOECKER and daughter, Pearl of Monticello, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. NOECKER left the same evening for a trip to Illinois. ***** GERMAN - MARSHALL A very quiet wedding took place at the parsonage of the Presbyterian church of this city last evening, Oct. 6, 1898 at 6 o'clock p.m. At the hour named the groom, Mr. C.M. GERMAN, of the firm of LAIDLAW, DUNN & GORDEN of Cincinnati, appeared at the parsonage with his intended bride, Miss Josephine MARSHALL of this city. The ceremony which made the young couple man and wife was performed by Rev. BULLARD, pastor of the Presbyterian church. The ceremony was beautiful and impressive in the well known manner of the pastor. The bride look handsome in her wedding gown of blue silk with mousseline de soie trimmings. The groom was dressed in the conventional black. Owing to the recent deaths of the mother and grandfather of the bride the wedding was private. After the marriage Mr. and Mrs. GERMAN took the evening train for Columbus, from thence to Cincinnati where they will make their future home. Miss MARSHALL has for five years last past been a teacher in the public schools of Cincinnati where her presence will be missed. The best wishes of all attend the happy couple in their start upon the voyage of life. ***** Mabel B, owned by LEIST Bros. finished fourth in the 2:30 pace at Grove City October 6.
