November 28 1895, Circleville Union Herald Painful accident A.E. Patton is suffering from a very lame left limb as the result of an accident which happened Wednesday two weeks ago at Sardinia, Ohio. Mr. Patton was assisting in lifting a couple of heavy shoe trunks when one fell on his limb striking him just below the knee. A large leader was cut, rendering walking impossible for several days. He is able to get out now with the assistance of a cane. Mr. Patton but recently commended to travel for the H. C. Werner company of Zanesville having been out only three days when the accident happened.
