They were accompanied home by Harry DENMAN. ***** Mr. and Mrs. George SHAPPELL of Wapakoneta are visiting relatives in this city. Mr. SHAPPEL is a cousin of Messrs. Wm. and Henry HEFFNER and they had not seen each other for forty years. ***** Mr. and Mrs. S.F. DEEMS and Miss Carrie BOHNER of Columbus, Ohio, are visiting Mrs. DEEM's sister, Mrs. J.J. BREHMER on North Court street. They are on their way home from a visit at Haynes, O. ***** Amos TEEGARDEN and daughter, Miss Jeff BARNARD, of Clarksville, Tenn., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Henry SCHLEYER in this city, and Mrs. Elizabeth FELLERS in Circleville township. ***** S.H. WINSTEAD, collector for the First National bank, is taking his annual two week's vacation, which he will spend in Columbus, Springfield, Dayton, Cincinnati, Greenfield and Washington C.H. ***** Rev. W.A. CAVE and bride are guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel CAVE in this city. Rev. CAVE was sent to Columbus by the M.E. conference at its recent meeting in Athens. Mrs. CAVE was a Miss WISE of Nelsonville. ***** Miss Mary MAHER, who spent the past year with her aunt, Mrs. Helen MEARS, left Friday for New York City to meet her sister, who had arrived from Ireland. Miss MAHER expects to remain in New York with another aunt. ***** Mr. and Mrs. J.L. ZIMMERMAN of Springfield Ohio, were the guests of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas BLACKSTONE and Mr. Otis BALLARD last week. Mr. ZIMMERMAN is the Demoractic candidate for congress in this district. His wife was a Miss BALLARD. ***** Mrs. and Mrs. George Strong LEWIS have arrived at their home in Chicago, after a most delightful honeymoon trip of two weeks. From Circleville they went to Washington D.C. and from there by steamer to Norfolk and Old Point. They took an ocean voyage to New York and from there to Albany and Niagara, arriving in Chicago Saturday. ***** Mr. and Mrs. J. WALL, who have been the guests of the latter's parents, Dr. and Mrs. A.H. SHAEFFER, went to Columbus Oct. 6, accompanied by Mrs. SHAEFFER who attended the W.C.T.U. convention. Mrs. WALL left that evening to spend October on their ranch "Fairlawn", near Verdella, Missouri.
