Hello List I think I have found, with some digging that my William Gay is probably a brother to Jacob Gay, also from Pickaway Co., OH., that moved to Tippecanoe Co., IN about the same time William moved to the adjacant County of White. Jacob Gay shows a brother William born abt 1796 prob. PA. Their father John Gay a native on England came to Pickaway Co. from Westmoreland Co., PA in 1799 William and Mary Ann moved to White Co., IN in 1831. William died in 1840 leaving Mary Ann with 2 sons in the 1850 White co. Census. According to Pickaway Co., OH history John Gay lived to be 102 yrs 10 months. Does anyone have anymore information on this family? Thanks Joe Evans
