Does anyone have any information about Margaret Ryan' marriage to Patrick Brannon in 1854. Margaret Ryan was from Perry County. They moved to Pickaway County. Also, my Grandfather, Allen Griffin, was born in Perry County 1854. His parents, Dr. Henry Griffin and Sarah Rush Griffin lived in Old Straitsville Does anyone have any information re: this family. If he was a Dr. (probably no diploma) there should be some documented history regarding his "practice" in the area. On two census he showed his occupation as a Dr. so he must have earned a living to support his 8 children. The family moved to Hocking Co. sometime between 1850 & 1860.
