    1. Re: [OHPERRY] John/Jane Wilson, Madison Twp.
    2. Hi Wilson - From my book(s) on Perry County Marriage Records 1818-1914 (Male Index) published by the Perry Co. OGS, I can offer the following: 1820 - James Willson m. Nancy Clayton - book 1, pg. 16 1821 - James Willson m. Elizabeth Gorden - book 1, pg. 22 1827 - James Wilson m. Lydia McBride - book 1, pg. 78 1827 - James Wilson m. Magdeline Garliner - book 1, pg. 88 1830 - John Wilson m. Maria H. Moore - book 1, pg. 112 1832 - John Wilson m. Maria Grigg - book 1, pg. 131 1833 - John P. Wilson m. Mary Ann Hughes - book 1, pg. 144 1841 - Samuel Wilson m. Margaret Crane - book 2-3, pg. 25 And from the Female Index: 1826 - Sarah Wilson m. John Crain - book 1, pg. 62 1830 - Sarah Wilson m. Stephen Powell - book 1, pg. 111 1832 - Sarah Wilson m. Israel Moore, book 1, pg. 131 I also checked my Perry County "Hopewell and Madison Twp Cemeteries" book (Perry Co. OGS), and could find no "Wilson" listings in Madison Township and no "Baird" listings which would apply. As to your question about the location of "NW quarter, section 30, township 17, range 5); how could I find this location on a modern map of Perry County?", there is a very fine booklet called "Ohio Lands - a Short History" put out by the State of Ohio that you might want to get. The booklet was available (I got mine 4/2000) through the Ohio "Auditor of State", but the website addresses given in the book no longer exist when I just checked. You'd have to do a search, but it's well worth it to get the book. You might want to put out a question to the list. Good luck in finding your family, and I hope I gave you some leads which might help - Nancy Thompson (CA)
