I am looking for proof of the John A JOURNEY family in Perry County, Ohio between 1820-1849. I believe that John A Journey's first wife died between 1823-1826 and is buried there. We believe her name was Elizabeth. John A Journey then married Anna HARKINS 19 October 1826 Perry County, Ohio and they had 7 children between 1827-1839 all in Perry County, Ohio. Their names are: Julia A., James R., Robert R., Joseph Carson, Stephen W., Thomas J. and Susan J. Anna HARKINS had previously been married to a BROWN and had 1 son, Benoni Brown born before 1826. I found on Ancestry that John A Journey was married to Elizabeth Green,1790, Washington D.C. They had two children - William and John. Contributor Kenw@primary.net states that Elizabeth Green was born in Md. and died in Ohio. And he states that they were married in Md.
