    3. Thanks for the history of this well known Pottery. The submission from "MLS155" was excellent. Also it added to my Brown history, "Thomas Brown, treasurer". Records show the land the factory was built being owned by G.W. (Washington) Brown, father of Thomas. Is this the site currently housing the Hartstone Pottery in Zanesville? Carole Williams

    3. Thanks for the Information, This explains why some sources "say" that John Bartley OWENS (from my Owens family) started Roseville Pottery. It seems he started a pottery business that was taken over by Roseville Pottery. I knew there was a J.B. Owens pottery line, but wasn't clear on the connection with Roseville Pottery. I appreciate the information, Kathy ----- Original Message ----- From: <MLS155@aol.com> To: <OHPERRY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 01, 2002 12:03 PM Subject: [OHPERRY] Re: OHPERRY-D Digest V02 #64 roseville pottery > > In a message dated 3/30/02 11:01:33 PM, OHPERRY-D-request@rootsweb.com writes: > > <<What is your source for George F.
