Hi John, This is a stretch but, there was a Jane Cochran shown on the 1830 census in Jackson Co., Jackson Township. She was head of household. There is a female listed (the oldest) between 15 and 20 years of age. Probably her oldest daughter. As I'm sure you know, the oldest daughter was usually named after the Mother in the good ole days.
