    3. Bev's message made me wonder if anyone from Perry has tried to work with the Somerset County PA Historical/Genealogical Society. I am researching the Bughs of Somerset, Perry County and early commissioner, Peter Bugh Sr., came from Germany in 1775, fought in the Revolutionary War from Lancaster County PA, married and moved with his wife, Catherine to Somerset County, PA. What brought so many of the families from Somerset PA to collectively move to Fairfield/Perry?
