I found the following in the Perry County Weekly of March 5, 1862, page 2. I hope it helps someone. Lawson Teal died Thursday February 27, 1862 at Rehoboth, Perry County after a protracted illness. Lawson Teal esq. was 72 years of age. He was born in Westmoreland County, PA and emigrated to Ohio when he was about 25 years of age. He has resided in Perry County since that time. The obituary goes on to describe his character and church affiliation. No family members are mentioned. Jim Neal
