Hi, I have some Downey's that originated from Perry County as a collateral line. Thomas Martin Downey was the 2nd husband of my 5th gr-grandmother, Margaret "Peggy" DeGarmo O'Leary. They were married Jan 9 1854 in Perry County. He died in Perry County about 1858, and then Margaret and a bunch of the various children moved to Vernon County, Wisconsin. I'd be interested in learning if this may be the same Downey line.
