Treasurer, married to Elizabeth, probably a VANATTA, had 10 children, my line is Jacob, b. 1801 in NJ., married Amelia BARNES, d/o Richard Weaver BARNES and Phebe JOLLY MARTIN BARNES LEWIS. 2) Jacob and Amelia had Josiah who married Harriet COLEMAN 3) Josiah and Harriet had Jacob COLEMAN PETTY who married Keziah Belle MURDOCK 4)J. C. and Keziah PETTY had my Pop, Alva MAJORS PETTY, b. 1903 who married my Mom, Lela V. GREEN of Bremen 5) I am Marjory PETTY PECK AUSTEN, older than dirt and b. 1932, the last PETTY b. in Perry CO. according to Courthouse records! I have extensive data on the PETTY Clan as fara as Joseph's descendants. What I need to know is his parentage! If you descend from any of these lines, let me hear from you.
