    1. [OHPERRY] Leffler/Ridenhour Connection

    3. Need a little help making some connections. I am descended from George W. Lef(f)ler, b. 1836, (m. Alice Irvin) son of Jacob, b. abt 1803, Pennsylvania and Mary A. Lefler b. abt 1803, Ohio. Jacob & Mary are listed in the 1860 Ohio, Perry County, Monday Creek Twp, Census with their children: Lucinda, George W., Jacob (m. Susan Rudesill), Mary A., Eliza J., and John H. In the 1880 Monday Creek Twp, Enumeration Dist. 21, page #15, I found Mary Lefler, 74, Widowed, b. Ohio, parents born Virginia; Eliza, 33, single, Keeping House, b. Ohio, parents born Virginia; and George Ridenhour, 21, Nephew, Single, School Teacher, b. Ohio, Father b. Tennessee, and mother b. France. Questions: Was Mary Lefler a Ridenhour? One of her sisters marry a Ridenhour? Who were George Ridenhour's parents? As an aside, if anyone knows who Mary's in-laws were, it would be greatly appreciated. This couple has been my brick wall for many years. I have lots on their descendant, George W., that I will share for the asking. Thanks! Sue Leffler Dayton OH Looking for: Leffler, Green(e), Irvin, Forbes, Palmer, Smart, and the rest of my nuts!
