My Perry county ancestors were the family of John and Chloe (Chloah) HOMES/HOLMES. They left Virginia and arrived in Perry County around 1831. Families along side the Holmes line include MARLOW, CORFMAN, along with a BEERY from Fairfield. These families were instrumental in founding the Baptist church in Monday Creek Township.
