Thanks to Carole Williams for the obit link and information Ruth Driggs Robechek's father, Gilbert S. Driggs (1874-1967), was a long time funeral director in Crooksville. Her mother was Mary Dow Brannon (1881-1973). 'Gib' Driggs was born Morgan Co, near Deavertown. Mary Dow Brannon was born in Stockport coming to Crooksville to join older siblings. Ruth graduated from Crooksville High School in 1926. Later she obtained a degree in nursing, worked at a Cleveland Hospital, married Philip John Robechek M.D. There are probably some in Crooksville who would remember the Driggs family. Most of my Perry Co bunch lived over towards Hocking co and I didn't recognize any of these names.
