    3. Zanesville Times Recorder October 2, 1974 Frederick J. Rambo, 85, of Crooksville Route 1 died unexpectedly at 5 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 1) at his home. He had been in ill health the past eight years. He was born April 7, 1889, in Muskingum County. He was a retired miner and farmer, a member of Crooksville Church of Atonement and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Crooksville. Surviving are his widow, Catherine Quinn Rambo, whom he married April 8, 1913; five daughters, Mrs. Lemert (Margaret) Swingle of McConnelsville Route 4, Mrs. Harold (Anna) Smith of Acworth, Ga., and Mrs. Edward (Gertrude) Blosser, Mrs. Russell (Rita) McNeal and Mrs. Chris (Mae) Papageorge, all of Crooksville Route 1; two brothers, George Rambo of Crooksville and Clint of Zanesville; a sister, Mrs. Clara Crossan of Crooksville; 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Crooksville Church of Atonement, with burial in the church cemetery. Zanesville Times Recorder Saturday March 19, 1977 Mrs. Martha Catherine Rambo, 85, of Crooksville Rt. 1 died at 8 p.m. Thursday in the emergency room at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She had been in failing health for the past three months. Born July 10, 1891, in New Lexington, Mrs. Rambo was a member of the Church of Atonement Catholic Church in Crooksville. Her husband, Fred Rambo died in 1974. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Lemert (Margaret) Swingle of McConnelsville, Mrs. Harold (Anna) Smith of Atwarth, Ga., Mrs. Edward (Gertrude) Blosser, Mrs. Russell (Rita) McNeal and Mrs. Christopher (Mae) Papageorge, all of Crooksville, a sister, Mrs. Ellen Noble of Columbus; a brother, James Quinn of New Lexington; 23 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Atonement Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Transcribed by Carole Williams
