I believe the info is submitted by users just like us. It seems like a great way to connect via location/proximity and surname. Apparently no one has entered any family lines with your surnames. At least that's my understanding. Tim would know better. Exactly Julie. Its an online database where registered users can add the details of their own families. The database has all of the normal fields you'd expect from genealogy software, names, dates, etc., but can also be used to associate family histories, pictures and even movies. Right this minute there are almost 17,000 names in the database, over 200 photos and about 250 registered users. To register, simply click on the "Register" link on the main page (right above the small pictures). Registering gives you total access to the database with the capability of adding your own information. Non registered users can still use the database but can only "see a" information entered for non living persons only. For more info. about the database and why I built it, click here http://www.perrycofamilies.org/about.htm I also have a large amount of data concerning Perry Co., genealogy here http://www.perrycountyohio.us Some of the content there would include the entire 1850 census, 1859, 1875 and 1935 plat maps, the 1883 History of Perry and Fairfield Cos. and a bunch of other stuff.
