    3. Hi Sue, Thanks for your reply. I have a Deed for Cemetary Lot. The Lot #47, square 5 & is recorded in Book 4, page 78. Is there a way to find out if any-one is buried there just in-case its not my g-grandfather. Could you tell me where the Monroe Township is! Thank you for your help, Christy ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2007 12:01 AM Subject: OHPERRY Digest, Vol 2, Issue 87 Today's Topics: 1. Our "Coal and Salt Lick Cemetery" publication does not list this person nor is he listed in my notes from the Shawnee clerk's office of the "Cemetery Plot Owners, 1881-1885." If you have a plot # for the Shawnee Cemetery, maybe it would be an option to call or write the Shawnee clerk and see if they can help?? Shawnee Mayor's office - 740-394-2462 Second Street, Shawnee, OH. 43782 *There is a George A. Tinker ( 1836 - 1901 Veteran) in the "Monroe Township Cemetery Inscriptions" for Dew Cemetery. 3. Christy, If a Village Clerk has any burial records or knows the location of this Lot # 47, they should be able to help. I doubt that actual burial records exist, especially if the time frame is very early. If they have a plot map or some knowledge of where this Lot is located, one could do a visual exam to see if there is a marker. If there is none, I don't know how to determine a burial unless you probe the ground. This, of course, would not tell you "who" is there. Monroe Twp. is in the S. E. portion of Perry Co., joining Athens Co.
