B E N N E T T Services were held this a.m. at 9 at St. Rose church for Mr. Bennett, 52, who died at his home here at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday. He received a neck injury in a fall in May and was in the hospital for a time. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery by C. L. Chute Co. Rev. Maurice Donovan officiated at the services. Survivors are his wife, Nell Spurgeon Bennett; 3 children, James F., Barbara Ann and Jerome T., all at home; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Nugent, New Lexington; a half brother, Fred Bennett, Columbus. He was a lifelong resident of Perry county and was a member of St. Rose church, American Legion and VFW. He was secretary of BPOE lodge 509 and a veteran of World War I.
