    3. Hello Looking for information on a cemetery in Jackson Twsp. SALEM EVANGELICAL U.B. CEMETERY ??? My GR-----------Uncle James Dutton and his wife are suppose to buried there he died 1859 her 1871 does someone hold records for this cemetery?? Am looking for James Parents hoping that they may be buried there as well JOHN DUTTON & wife ELIZABETH may have died before 1850 appreciate anything on this Thank you Susan Toledo Ohio area

    3. Susan, There are at least 15 burials in the Salem Evang. U. B. Church Cemetery per the "Jackson Township Cemetery" publication printed by our group. (Perry Co. Chapter, OGS). The reason I use the term "at least" is because there are several notations on inscriptions where the surname is unreadable for stones between known Dutton markers. On pg. 97 we find this listing: _____, Elizabeth (broken stone- down) Dutton, Elizabeth d. Sep 25, 1821 (1871) aged 26 yr (76 yr) w/o James " James d. Feb 18, 1859 aged 65 yr 4 mo 19 da Our Father and Mother _____, James D. 1859 * The comments in parenthesis notes differences in readings of the stones. We hope this helps.
