    3. In reply to David White - the Hitchcock family has been researched by others, one being Shirley Hitchcock Nelson of New Lexington OH. She is not on the Net & has not entered data in any computer program. I have a GED- Com of the Hitchcock family; it is in OH on a floppy & I am currently in FL. Will return to OH in June. My understanding is that the Hitchcock family settled in Clayton & Harrison Twps, Perry Co near Crooksville and that there was a Hitchcock Cemetery - the location guarded. John F. did go to Monday Creek Twp, Maxville. But many of his children returned to Harrison Twp. His eldest son Nicholas F. was in the Civil War and you can read his biographical sketch in the "Biographical & Historical Album of Johnson & Pawnee Co Nebraska" You will get family info at this site http://www.rootsweb.com/~neresour/OLLibrary/pbjp/pages/bajp0034.htm#342 My interest in HITCHCOCK is through Caleb born 1829 OH (to Lucian Hitchcock) married Mary Ann BROWN.
