To those of you owning a book of births in Perry Co., OH: Charles Walter COATES has the wrong mother named in the index. Charles Walter COATES was my grandfather, so I have spent the $30 needed to get this corrected and have sent the probate court proper documention. Isn't that something? They made the error, but I have to pay $30 to get it corrected. His mother was Vina HARLOW. The Perry Co. books have his mother as Vina HARLAN. You can't imagine how this can confuse a researcher when trying to make the next left in generations. It took me 1-1/5 years to get th correct name. I was looking for Vina Harlan.
