Thanks Lea Ann. I hadn't found this clue. I will try to check it out further. Hard to figure why Nancy ALLEN (PACE) wasn't included with the family in Bearfield Twp. I thought it was because she might have died at or right after the birth of George who was listed as 5 mos. old in 1850. I suppose it is possible the one in Clayton Twp. could be my Nancy. I do think there were at least 2, maybe 3 different families of PACES in Perry Co. around that time. Linda "There is a Nancy L.Pace listed in the 1850 Perry Co. census living in Clayton Twp.
