There are several possible first names, but all would have been born in Ross County. I have a John C. Wilson, born about 1794 in Virginia, and came to Ross County about 1800 with his father James and several siblings. Family story says that several other members of the family (brothers of James) came with them. John C. married Rebecca Scheckley January 1817 in Ross County, and they had 10 or more children, depending on which story you get. I have 5 boys and 5 girls listed. Some of the boys migrated to the Fayette, Clinton, Perry, Van Wert County areas. I have very little information on children born to his children.
