Thank you, Daine. Yes, I am aware of the recording with the courthouse. Actually I found that info at the State of Ohio Library. I just can't find his burial place. You are right about several cemeteries in the area, that are "on a hill." I have been to Rendville and Corning and looked at all those you mentioned. I was just hoping there were records of his burial in case he didn't have a stone. I was told at the time that the County was in the process of cleaning up some cemeteries that were overgrown and only accessible by 4 wheel drive. I haven't checked to see their progress. Would you happen to know what newspaper would have listed obituaries in 1900 in that area? Maybe that is a possible solution. You have been extremely helpful and I appreciate that you took the time to look into my query. Michele
