Can anyone tell me what township Shawnee is in? I am researching the Purdums, Longstaffs, and Butterfields that lived there in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I should checkout the book listing burials in the cemeteries next. Also, is there a good place to find names of persons working in the coal mines around Perry County during that time frame?
