Daine, My great-grandmother died in Congo (Corning), Monroe Township in July (according to death record) or Aug (according to husband) 1909. Her funeral was not recorded at the same church (St. Bernard's) where she baptized her son just a year before, so I'm not sure where she was buried? Her name was Elizabeth Matisz. I've seen it spelled Mattisz, Matyas and Mytyes (on her death record). I'm also looking for Elizabeth's her first husband, Joseph Soltesz (Schultz?), who died between July 1907-1908, presumably in Congo. Highly unlikely, but maybe her second husband of only one year (Matisz) buried her with her first husband (Soltesz)...I doubt it.
