Hi; Does anyone know whether Middletown, Ohio, still exists? It was near the southern border of Jackson Township, Perry County. I have located it on an 1850 map - it's north of Maxville and south of Crossenville. I tried to reconcile the 1850 map with a current road map, and took a little tour of the area (to no avail.) I found some information in the 1980 Perry County History book that makes it sound like Middletown is still there... "In 1815, Fairview United Brethern Church was organized near the southern line of the township, later Middletown." I'd appreciate any information you have. My g-g-grandfather, Robert KENNEDY, was born near Middletown, and was schooled somewhere in the area. Thanks, Stacy
