I assume you meant Samuel was born about 1840 if his daughter was borm 1876. I have a Samuel McClelland Orr, b. 8 Feb 1834, Licking, OH; d. 22 Sept 1904. Samuel was the son of Joseph Orr and Harriet Tracy; ( plus 11 others) Joseph was the son of Robert Orr and Elizabeth Jinkins (only one I know if) Robert was the son of James Orr and Mary Dale (plus 13 others) If this sounds like it is in the right area, e-mail me off-line. My tie to the Orr family is through one of Samuel's nieces marrying a Cooperrider from Perry County. I don't have any info on Samuel's family.
