Westbrook YOST Born - 1839 Thornville Township Married - ????????????, Susan E. ANSPACH Married - 8 OCT 1863, Elizabeth BOGANWRIGHT Married - 24 FEB 1876, Catherine KENNEDY Died - 18 APR 1889, Perry County Westbrook had 8 children with these 3 women, but I cannot prove a marriage with Susan E. Anspach. She just appears as the mother of one of Westbrook's known children. My great-grandmother Grace YOST, was born from the last union with Catherine KENNEDY. The "family legend" says that when Westbrook died at 50 years of age, he left his widow Catherine with raising all of his children from previous marriages, etc. She could not take care of all of them so she "adopted out" her natural daughter and my great-grandmother, Grace Yost to Westbrook's cousins', Frank and Etta Beagle who were childless. They raised Grace as their own and a few other orphan girls also.
