Hi Ruth...All this interest in my last name..wow. Yes there was a Bessie Garey, I think she's my husbands grandmother. My husband's dad was Leroy "Roy" and died about 23 years ago. My husband's mom is working on the Garey side, so I send her all the great queries that come my way. I've forwarded your message to her and I hope she contacts you. Well Teresa, I would be interested in knowing more about Julia Belle Garey, who married James Thomas Clark in Perry county, 1896. She was brn abt 1875, died in 1919.
