Hello List, I'm back on the list after a years absence and want to re-list my query names. My great grandfather lived in Hemlock and is buried in the Springer cemetary. I'm still looking for bits of information. The family that lives in Congo, John Almashy, and I have been in contact with each other. I'm trying to tie him into the family now. All of the Almashys that lived in Perry county were related as I've come to find during my research. I'd also like to mention the descendants of Peter Titko are related. I haven't had alot of contact with them. Anyone that is familiar with them, please e-mail me a note. I'd like to know if anyone has seen Almashy or Allmashy names in any of the other cemetaries around Perry Co. I'd like to look for them next summer as I visit the area. I'm still without the death certificate of my greatgrandfather Andrew Almashy(b.1859-d.1929). So far no luck at the Lexington Courthouse. Maybe they lost it or never had one made for him. State Historical Society online list does not have him either. The Almashy name has been traced to Hungary and I've found it was originally spelled Almasi. Thanks for any response!
