I suggest if you get an initial answer to a query with an attachment, do not open it. Alternately, before opening messages from an unknown source that includes an attachment, check the properties. Did it come through Rootsweb? As I understand Rootsweb will NOT relay any messages with attachments. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. (Tim Fisher, you should be able to enlighten on this question.) Last week I posted a message saying, as a subscriber I had never been sent an OH-PERRY message with an attachment. Later that day I received a message that had (OH-PERRY) in the Subject line & an attachment included. It was sent by a David Smith, I deleted it so don't have his address. When I checked, PROPERTIES, I found it did not come through Rootsweb. My reply to Mr. Smith was, in effect, he could keep his attachment I was not going to open it.
