Brown b. 1771 DE d. 1857 MU, Clay (near Roseville): Joseph - 1792-1876, James J. - 1816-1899, Benjamin S. - 1818-1896, Elizabeth 1820 - 1900, Edward M. - 1824- ?, Wesley J. - 1825- 1872, Wm. C. - 1827-1905, Horatio G. - 1831- ? ( died NE, Carole Chapman has death) You probably have already noted the big gap between Joseph b. 1792 & James J. b. 1816. Wm Brown was, according to oral history & earlier researchers, married 3X. The children of his 2nd wife settled elsewhere in SE OH & became known to family researchers as the "Lost tribe".
