    1. [OHPERRY] Binkley Cemetery
    2. Jo Kester
    3. Hello A fellow researcher told me there is a possibility that the mother of Elizabeth Keister BASHORE is also buried at the Binkley Cemetery. The Bashore family emigrated to Ohio in 1803 soon after her father died. As her mother was one of the executors of her husband's Will, we know she was still alive in 1790. It wasn't uncommon for a widowed parent to travel with family members moving to a new location. Would there be any information online concerning the Binkley Cemetery? Thanks for any leads. 1. [OHPERRY] CAIN/SKINNER - 1860 Salt Lick Twp., Perry Co. census
    2. Brenda J. Van Dyke
    3. I know there is someone on this list researching CAIN and I wanted to pass on the following information. I was perusing through the 1860 Perry Co. census and came across 4 SKINNER families (father Reuben and sons Reuben, Jacob, and Lemuel) that were living next to each other in Salt Lick Twp. In looking at a 5th dwelling, I noticed the name Richard KING. I started looking at the record a little more closely and comparing it with my records, Perry Co. marriage records, and the names of the children, it dawned on me that this was NOT Richard KING, but Richard CAIN and his wife, Martha SKINNER, who was a daughter and sister to the 4 male Skinners listed above. The census listing is as follows: Page 305A; Dwelling #885, Family #862 KING, Richard, age 34y, male, farmer, Real Est $300, Pers Prop $150, b. OH KING, Martha, age 27y, female, b OH, cannot read or write KING, Reuben J., age 6y, male, b OH KING, James R., age 3y, male, b OH KING, Steven A., age 1y, male, b OH Again, I believe the surname on this family should be CAIN, not King. If anyone knows different, please let me know. Brenda J. Van Dyke bjvd@columbus.rr.com Amateur Radio Call KC8OYP

    3. Ephraim Fisher was b 1825 Perry Co., O. His parents were b PA according to 1880 census. Supposedly he was orphaned at an early age and later "bound out" to a farmer. He married Serena Collins 1849 in Fairfield Co., O and lived in Fairfield Co. until they moved to Gentry Co., MO in 1865. Does anyone have records of any Fishers who could be parents to Ephraim? Lori

    1. [OHPERRY] Anthony Wayne CARREL (CARROLL)
    2. Eric
    3. Who raised Anthony Wayne CARREL (CARROLL)? Anthony Wayne CARREL was born somewhere in western Pennsylvania 20 February 1806 and raised in Central Ohio. Anthony's parents were Philip and Mary CARREL who with their nine children John (b. 1798), Mary, Margaret, Joseph, Anthony, Catherine, Henry, Jane and Philip Jr. (b. about 1813) were in Jefferson County, OH in 1813. The father Philip Carrel died December 1813 while in the service of the United States during the War of 1812, and his estate was administered in the Court of Common Pleas in Steubenville, OH in 1814. Ephraim CELLARS (SELLERS) was appointed administrator. When word of her husband's death reached Mary she released Anthony Wayne, age 7, into the custody of a neighbor or family acquaintance to raise as his own child. We do not know who this person was. The court later appointed Ephraim CELLARS as guardian of the four oldest remaining children in 1814. Other names mentioned in the court documents are John HENDERSON, John WOLF, Abraham CRABB and Jacob SHELL (SHULL) as bondsmen and appraisers. Young Anthony thus became separated from his family at an early age, and was raised in Central Ohio. Anthony's records start up again in 1826 in Granville, Licking Co. where he married Miss Belinda ROOT, a daughter of Noble Root and Damaris BARRETT. Anthony married 2nd Orpha G. (GREEN, BUSHNELL) LINNELL after 1865. He died 27 April 1882 in Olathe, Johnson Co., KS. I am seeking any information on the whereabouts in Perry County of Anthony Wayne Carroll (Carrel) between 1813 and 1826, between the ages of 7 and 20, and who raised him there. I am also seeking any information about what may have happened to his eight brothers and sisters and his mother Mary, and any descendants. Philip Carrel Jr. may have married a FELTENBERGER in Harrison Co, OH in 1832. Eric
