    2. I don't have a lot of information about Mary Ann (she is not a relative to me) but there may be some clues in here: Mary Ann married John Jacob Storts (served in the Revolutionary War) in Perry County, Ohio in 1831. My sketchy records show a birthdate of 1803 for her. Their daughter, Mariah Jane Storts, who was born in 1841 married John Wesley Allen in 1862. When Mariah died in 1933 she was honored as Ohio’s last daughter of a Revolutionary War soldier. The Perry County Tribune has published several articles each year around Memorial Day. They may have some leads as to which family member has provided the information for their article. In the 1870 Federal Census, Mary Ann is listed in Perry County, Pike Township living with this daughter, Mariah. Carrie Allen who married Ernest Byron Stowe in 1905 had only one child, a daughter, Uldena. Uldena is now 94 years old and living in California. Best of luck in your quest, Mary

    3. I have a Mary Harter, born in Licking County, who married Daniel Storts from Perry County. They were on the census as living with an Adam Harter in Licking County after their marriage in 1814. The Harters came to Ohio from Rockingham County, VA, where Mary was born in 1788. There is a connection with the Disponnet (spelled many different ways) family in Licking County who also came from Rockingham County VA. I am not sure where Henry Harter fits in here but thought I might give you some of the info I have picked up along the way. 3. Thanks for your answer to my query about Mary Ann Burket. I attended the Storts Reunion last year since I am also descended from John Jacob through his first wife, Christena Keller. I am related to Mary Burket through her first husband, Leonard Notestine. No one at the reunion could go back any further on Mary Ann although I suspect she may be from one of the several Burket families in Somerset County, PA, where the Storts family originated from. Well, one of these days, someone may break down this wall!! Thanks again. 3. Hello, everyone, I have a few names to add to the collection: Joseph BOYER, son of David BEYER (who died and is buried in Vinton Co.), husband of Frances SNYDER, (whose 2nd marriage was to Peter DRUM on 21 Dec 1852). Joseph & Frances had at least 2 sons: Elkanah (died w/o issue), and Soloman (I have a lot of information about his descendants). David KELLER descendents: (I am helping update the 1988 records of the late Margaret Keller Delancey.) We have no records prior to David and would be interested in knowing who were David KELLER and Eve KERN's parents. DANIEL(s). I have quite a bit of information about this line and willing to share. Other Perry County names known but not much research done: HELSER, SWINEHART, RIDENOUR, DORRIS, SMITH, SEITZ, CRIST. Fairfield County: WAGNER, SHIDEGGER, DARING, ROBERTS. Meigs County: FLEAK, HETLER. Thank you for the opportunity to share my family, Sheila ________________________________________________________________ CPAs . . . Making Sense of a Changing and Complex World.
