My name is Ruth Roberts Baker and I live in Muskingum Co. Ohio and John Wesley Pletcher 1854-1942 was my GG Uncle his sister Amelia "Millie" Jane Pletcher Harrop 1847-1906 was my G grandmother. Their parents were Adam Noah and Leah Mohler Pletcher Weller. Adams parents were John Pletcher 1790-1876 he was br. in Maryland and Elizabeth Stoneburner 1796 (Maryland)to 1841. John's father was Henry Pletcher 1759-1841 b.Lancaster co. Pa d. Morgan co.ohio his mother was Daratha (spelling on her headstone)Haupt Pletcher 1766-1849 His father was Henry also b. app 1739 no name for his mother. Amelia married Solomon Luther Harrop and they had 8 children one of which was my grandmother. I have found the cemetary where most of the family of the Pletcher-Mohler families are buried which is only about 10 miles from me. a lot of the stones are bad but Adam's is about right in the middle and stands up straight and tall.
