Author: loosescrew75 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.ohio.counties.muskingum/6915.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: This obituary appeared in The Adamsville Register, Adamsville, Ohio ANDREW GRAHAM DEAD One of Salem Township's Best Known Farmers Called To His Reward Andrew Graham a well known farmer of near Sonora died at his home Wednesday 25 November 1914 of paralysis at the age of 80 years 10 months and 17 days. The deceased was born in Ireland 8 January 1834 and at the age of 16 years came to this country with his mother and her other children, his father having died a short time before they came to America. He was married three times all of his companions in marriage preceding him to the grave. The children surviving him are Mrs Mary Sarbaugh of the home; David and James of the Sonora vicinity; Ernest A of Zanesville and Thomas of Lenox, Iowa. Mr Graham was intelligent industrious and frugal and always enjoyed the confidence and good will of his neighbors. He possessed many good traits of character which made him a respected neighbor and a desirable friend. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Norwich having united with that band of worshipers in 1869. He was honest and upright and his family and his daily walk show! ed him to be sincere in his Christian profession. Funeral services were conducted Friday at the family residence and the remains were interred in the Bowers Cemetery near Sonora.
