One more thing on the Rootsweb Message board change: The “from” name and email address of gatewayed message board posts have changed from the board post author’s email address to gc-gateway@rootsweb.com. This is to protect the privacy of the board post author who may not be aware that their email address is being exposed to a mailing list and saved in the list archives. It also means that if you reply to the message with just the gateway address, no one will see it. You must respond via the link included in the post. You can use "respond to all" and manually remove the gateway address but then again only those on the list would see it and the person posting the message will not unless he/she is a list member.
