Jane and Samuel Jewett named one of their sons Henry (after Jane's brother?). Henry Jewett and his two brothers, John Noble and Samuel, were beneficiaries of a land transfer in Noble County from grandparents: Samuel and Ruth Jewett (so I think Jane and Amos didn't live long). My family thinks the McClintics came to Ohio from Scotland (via Pennsylvania). Let me know if you have any insights. Thanks! Karl Beckstrand
