Denny, good idea! My John Cox, of Rich Hill Township, migrated along with the national road. He worked on it and settled in Muskiingum/Guernsey Co. Did anybody else do such a thing? Did a group of the Irish come together and settle in Muskingum Co.? And then of course, there is the religious side of this. What about the settlement of the Covenanters? Interesting to ponder.
