Vashti was a longtime volunteer with the Muskingum County Genealogy Society and had worked on many publications over the years. Margaret Vashti Abella, 72 ROSEVILLE -Margaret Vashti Abella, 72, of Roseville, died at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, in Zanesville, following a short illness. Born Feb. 8, 1934, in Zanesville, the daughter of Leo and Bernice Tipton Bash, she was Lutheran by faith. She had worked at Mosaic Tile Co. and Hazel Atlas Co. and enjoyed bowling, having been in several bowling leagues in the area. She enjoyed genealogy and was a member of the Muskingum County Genealogical Society. Margaret is survived by five children, Emmett (Linda) Abella, Michael (Terri) Abella and Joe (Marilyn) Abella, all of Roseville, Vashti (Dan) Miller of Amanda and Jay Abella of Zanesville; grandchildren, Angie and Timmy Abella, Jason and Eric Abella, Matt and Mary Milatovich, Josh Hinkle, Brittiany Love and Colton and Cameron Abella; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Lillian Sowers, Sylvia (Chance) Wisecarver, Frank (Sue) Bash, Bernice (Kenny) Hayes, Markeeta (Clifford) Thomas, Harold Bash and Belinda (Nick) Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Abella, who died in 1994; a granddaughter, Molly Abella; three brothers, John Bash, Fred Bash and Carl Bash; and a sister, Gladys Hendricks. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 5, at the Hillis and Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, with Pastor Robert Duncan of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
