Dear list, I'm looking for my GGGGrandfather James H. Mundy, in Muskingum County, Ohio. He arrived there in 1803, later married Rosetta Leonard, dtr. of Phoebe Leonard, who came to Zanesville in that same year. I'm trying to find a list of his children. He was a carpenter when he arrived, and worked at that until he married in 1812, after which he was involved in the buying and selling of real estate. Also looking for any descendants still in that area, who might know more about him. He was born in Middlesex County, NJ, around 1788, and he came with a brother named John Henry Mundy. Any information or suggestions for search will be appreciated. We think he had at least six children, with the oldest being Charles Edward Mundy, who married Margaret Ann Brown, dtr of Isaac Moore Brown.
